Pregnancy and NCLEX......

Ok so I'm going to attempt to write my first blog. Well right now I am feeling very anxious because I retake my NCLEX (nursing state boards) in 2 weeks on March 18. I have been studying some everyday and am sick and tired of studying! I thought that once I finished school I was done studying, boy was I wrong! I have been praying so hard that I pass this time. I just want to get this over with, so I can concentrate on getting everything ready for the baby!! As of today I am 15 weeks and 3 days pregnant! For those of you who don't know I have multiple sclerosis (MS) and therefore am going to several different doctors during my pregnancy. My OBGYN in Pamela McQuillin. I go to her again on April 2nd and she said we would be doing the blood work to test for different diseases such as Down Syndrome. I am also going to a OB specialist, Jorge Blanco, who is making sure everything with the baby is going good. I went to him like 3 weeks ago and he did an ultrasound and said so far everything looks great with the baby. Although he did tell me that my placenta is low, which kinda worried me at first, but he reassured me it was not covering the cervix and that it should move up with time. I go to him again on April 8th and will hopefully at that point find out the sex of the baby!!! We can't! I also of course am continuing to go to my neurologist, John Foster. He tells me along with my other doctors that MS actually seems to improve during pregnancy, but that 3-6 months after delivery I have a high chance of having a flare up. So we are praying that everything goes good during this pregnancy and that we have a healthy baby! And of course a healthy mommy to take care of the baby after it is born!!
